The annual Farmers Market at Eastside Elementary School gave students the opportunity to explore fresh fruits and vegetables and bring produce home to their families.
Students participated in the event with support from the Child Nutrition team, sampling a variety of items, including unique options like dragon fruit. With help from staff and parent volunteers, students engaged in a hands-on experience focused on trying new foods and learning about healthy choices.
Each student selected fresh produce to take home, extending the experience beyond the classroom and encouraging continued exploration of fresh foods at home.
